This has always been the most popular color choice for a raised floor system. Because of its popularity, the laminate is kept in stock. The white background is complimented by swirls of light gray. This pattern effectively hides surface dust extremely well. Matches well with Cheyenne
It has been the standard color for computer room floors for over 30 years. Many designer colors have come and gone through the years, however, Grey Starlite has a constant presence, which is something to be considered down the line when replacement panels become an issue. Some other names for this color are: Gray Twirl, Gray Ripple, Raised Floor Ripple, Cheyenne and Gray Tone. The high pressure laminate is available in two thickness' 1/16" and 1/8". The standard color edge trim with these panels is black. It's light reflective value is 73.2%.
This is the brown version of the very popular Gray Starlite. The ivory/white background is rippled with beige swirls. The standard trim color to compliment these panels is brown. It's light reflective value is 73.1%
This is merely a gray/brown/beige version of Grey Matrix. Use brown trim edge to compliment brown hues in the laminate. It's light reflective value is 32%, the lowest of all laminates.
Used black edge trim. It's light reflective value is 51%.
This dark gray color looks like wet concrete with pinpoint spots in black. It is widely used in very dark control rooms. It shouldn't be used in high traffic environments where sand is around the area. Sand brought into the room will actually scratch this color off the top resulting in white wear patterns. Caster chairs and poor housekeeping habits will ruin this floor surface. When selecting Gray Matrix, make sure the area will be low traffic and needs to stay very dark. It's light reflective value is one of the lowest of all color choices at 33.8%. Black edge trim was used with Gray Matrix.
Natural Bamboo. This was the hottest color to hit the market in some time. We discouraged selecting this color to our customers as designer colors such as this one probably would not be available when searching for replacement tiles.
Used a brown edge trim. Its light reflective value was 62.7%
This replaced White Mellowtone 1. Now both are obsolete
Very rare and old. Became obsolete in 2000, was replaced with White Mellotone 2.
This had a violet cast to it and did not sell well and was discontinued in 2000.
Nevamar standard grades of Laminated Floor Tiles have low static generation, especially important for computer rooms. They are manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI (American National Standards Institute) NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) Publication LD3-1991.
