StaticSmart ESD Carpet tiles will absorb static electricity and will pass the charge from the surface through the conductive backing and adhesive to the flooring sub-system to ground.

With its patented FibreLink construction, StaticSmart ESD Carpet safely and effectively dissipates static at a controlled rate. The FibreLink conductive monofilament fiber is twisted into every tuft, creating 100 or more conductive contact points per square inch. StaticSmart ESD static control flooring meets the Motorola R56 site requirements. Static charges are ionized at the surface of the carpet and conducted directly to ground through a conductive thermoplastic backing and patented conductive adhesive system.

This product is designed to withstand heavy abuse and outperforms most other conductive floor coverings. With its tightly woven, high denier construction and the exclusive EcoWorx backing, heavy equipment rolls easily across the carpeted floor.

The EcoWorx backing contains 40% recycled content with low VOC emissions. is dimensionally stable and is stronger than PVC, which can be harmful to the environment. This backing carries a lifetime commercial warranty covering edge ravel, zippering, de-lamination and moisture degradation.

This ESD Carpet Tile has been awarded the Carpet and Rug Institutes’ Green Label Plus certification for Indoor Air Quality. Green Label Plus is a voluntary industry testing program for carpet products that establishes the highest standard for indoor air quality (IAQ) ever set by the carpet industry. Green Label Plus identifies carpets that are tested by an independent, certified laboratory and meet stringent criteria for low chemical emissions.

These 24 inch by 24 inch carpet tiles are designed to show minimum wear and are low maintenance They can be installed with or without a tacky conductive releasable adhesive.

As with all our StaticSmart carpet tile products, they meet ANSI ESD S20.20 requirements without the need for anti static sprays.

This product is a 24 oz/sq.yd. commercial grade carpet tile with a 10 year warranty. Adhesive ordered separately.

One box will cover 48 square feet and will have 12 each 24 inch by 24 inch carpet tiles with grounding clips included.

As added insurance, copper grounding strips installed at suggested intervals, provide a uniform potential to ground throughout the installation.
