The HT2-500 HotSpotr 2.0 underfloor air mover immediately eliminates hot spots by providing the appropriate cool air resources needed for mission critical servers, without depleting airflow required by other racks and rows in the room. It is designed to be located beneath the access floor, as close as possible to the most critical rack to be cooled, and delivers air upward, to the inlet side of server racks. Using a high-performance DC fan to move air, the HotSpotr overcomes many underfloor obstructions and low-pressure pockets.

Description

HotSpotr works with all raised floor systems. Intended to be attached to floor mount stanchions with an included mounting rail kit, the self-contained fan tray is completely independent of the perforated floor tile used above it. With proven performance in conjunction with large open area (50% or greater) perforated tiles such as ASM AF500, Tate GrateAire, Tate DirectAire AL, and Tate DirectAire XL, the HotSpotr 2.0 delivers significantly more airflow than its predecessor.

The air moving unit has two modes of operation, constant speed and temperature control. In temperature control mode, feedback from up to two temperature sensors is used to adjust fan speed to maintain a user-defined temperature setpoint. A convenient user interface with color display allows technicians to change settings and view operational status during installation.
