Panel Types
-
All Steel
All Steel panels are designed for ease of installation and frequent removal. Used most frequently for server rooms where rows of racks are installed and foot traffic is present. The panels nest inside the grid formed by the stringers. Most of these kits are in stock with high pressure laminate or bare steel, and available with or without a grid.
Benefits:
- Lightweight for ease of handling
- Excellent ultimate load performance
- Epoxy finish for lifetime protection or maintenance friendly high pressure laminate
- Interchangeable with other panel strengths
-
Concrete Filled Panels
Concrete filled panels are designed for repetitive rolling loads. They are the data center staple, used successfully for many decades. The panels nest inside the grid formed by the stringers. Most of these kits are in stock with high pressure laminate or bare steel, and available with or without a grid. Another filled panel, Calcium Sulphate, is a newer technology and are now the greenest floor available. While all access floor panels have a Class A Flame Spread rating calcium sulfate floor panels belong to building material class A2, which is non-combustible. It’s also in stock and ready to ship on a bolted grid understructure.
Benefits:
- Excellent rolling load performance
- Interchangeable panel strengths
- Epoxy finish for lifetime protection
- Solid and quiet
-
Woodcore
Benefits:
Woodcore panels are great for a variety of applications. They were very popular prior to Concrete Filled panels and still used in data centers and networking facilities. Most of these kits are in stock with high pressure laminate with a bolted grid system.
- Economical
- Durable
- Rolling Load Performance
- Versatile Support System
- Quiet

Aluminum Floors
Benefits:
Aluminum panels are the most expensive systems and are used for non-ferrous applications, labs and clean rooms. They are available with high pressure laminate solid panels or a mix of grated panels or a complete system of grates. These panels are not in stock and are fabricated for individual requirements.
- Contains no ferrous materials to disrupt magnetic fields
- Perforated panels and grates provide optimum laminar air flow
- Available in a wide selection of conductive, static-dissipative coverings or coatings
- Excellent rolling load performance
