Head

Head - the component which inserts into the base and provides a platform for seating the panel on the understructure. Typically provided with a leveling nut to provide for fine adjustment of finished floor height. Also provided with locations to fasten panels or stringers in place. There are many configurations of heads, and most are not interchangeable with others. This is the component most critical to matching replacement understructure.
