Infinity® Air Grates deliver three times the air cooling CFM1 to server racks in cold aisles of a high density data center.
Computer rooms equipped with ordinary perforated airflow panels struggle to deliver 250-450 CFM, but certifed tests show with a static pressure of .10 (H2O) inches, the Infinity® Air Grate with 55% open area delivers 1145 CFM. This means that 2 to 3 times the CFM will be delivered as compared to standard perforated panels.
The introduction of blade servers has caused equipment racks to heat up in the 15-20 kw load range with 30-40 kw not far away. To respond to the changing needs of today's high-density technology, data centers worldwide are being upgraded and remodeled as a green alternative to total system replacement and/or changing operational facilities. Common issues, such as hot aisle/cold aisle containment, are often solved by installing 55% open area panels such as the Infinity® Air Grate.
If you have an old floor and have been told that no perforated panels will fit, the Infinity® Grate is an excellent option because this product adapts to 99% of all 24" x 24" floor systems. Additionally, installation is performed without tools or costly modifications. This can significantly reduce the high cost of skilled labor when multiple systems are used within the same facility. These grates can also replace 25% open area perforated panels without losing the option of having reduced air flow by the simple addition of a Slide Damper Kit.
The Infinity® Air Grate is compatible in access floor systems with up to a maximum stringer width of 1 5/8". It is also compatible with stringerless systems.
Infinity® Air Grates are shipped complete with a variety of leveling legs and Z plate adapters, meaning the grates will be totally ready to install upon arrival at your facility.
