The Infinity® Air Grate is a high density 55% open area grating panel designed to deliver 2 to 3 times the cfm as compared to standard perforated panels. The introduction of blade servers has caused equipment racks to heat up in the 15-20 kw load range with 30-40 kw not far away. Data centers worldwide are being upgraded and remodeled to accommodate todays high density technology. Issues such as hot aisle/cold aisle architecture fit right in with 55% open area grating panels.
Infinity® Grates are a wonderful solution to replace standard 25% perforated panels. This can be accomplished by installing this optional damper kit and dampering down to replicate 500-600 cfm or that of a standard 25% perforated panel.
Once the panels are installed, controlling air flow is easy with Sliding Dampers. This Kit contains 4 separate galvanized steel sliding dampers that are easy to position to regulate air delivery. The kit is easy to field install. Once installed, it is easily adjustable. Each Slide Damper kit comes with 4 snap in sliding plates, 2 side skirts, and 4 spring clips to retain the side skirts.
